CANBY GROVE PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
For over a year, the Board of the Centreville Civic Association has been working with our State Representative Krista Griffith, State Senator Laura Sturgeon, and the Kevin F. Kelley, Sr., the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Wilmington to plan and fund a new park playing, replacing the old playground equipment with safe, ADA compliant equipment aesthetically consistent with the rural and historical nature of our Village. With the hard work of Rep. Griffith and Senator Sturgeon we have a commitment for the majority of the funding necessary to make these plans come to fruition.
The existing playground equipment will be replaced with KOMPAN Robinia Village natural look playground equipment. A construction schedule will be communicated once it is available.
To help ensure that we have sufficient funding for landscaping and other park improvements, we are asking you to make a special donation to our Canby Park Fund. Thank you for being a part of this Community and contributing to our park improvement efforts!
